January has flown by in the blink of an eye.
Each dojo is currently holding the annual winter training. Lively training continues despite the bitter cold.
The cold weather is almost over. Stay in shape and get through the winter training.
For this year’s perfect attendance award, I wrote a motto of Saien of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
It is said to be a warning to be humble and considerate of others, saying that one should neither criticize the shortcomings of others nor boast about one’s own merits.

Yamaguchi Showakai 20th Anniversary
On Saturday, January 31st, an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of Yamaguchi Showakai (Ms. Mariko Miyazaki, Dojo Rep) was held at Ishin Taiko Arena in the city.
The first half was a joint practice, and the second half was a commemorative embukai.
Afterwards, a social gathering was held at KKR Asakura.
Many participants came from Osaka, Hiroshima, Shimonoseki, Kitakyushu, Oita, and Fukuoka. It was a very fulfilling commemorative event.
