The really hot weather has ended without knowing, and it has suddenly become cool recently. I hope everyone is doing well.
As we say “Time flies faster than an arrow”, we have only three months left this year.
Due to COVID-19, we could hardly practice since this past spring until July. However, the dojo members have finally started returning to practice little by little, and the dojo has been becoming as lively as usual recently.
During the dojo closure, we received heartwarming wishes from many dojo members, people from other dojos, as well as those who are away from Fukuoka now. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
We will keep on trying to make our dojo enjoyable for everyone. We would appreciate your continuous advice and support.
NHK Culture Center Aikido Closed
The NHK Culture Center Aikido program that we operated for twenty-eight years closed permanently at the end of September.
My deepest thanks to the program instructors, Mr. Takayoshi Kanato and Mr. Toshiro Nishida for being the instructors of the program for such a long time.
I hear that all the members who were taking the program will continue practicing at various Shoheijuku dojos. I hope they enjoy practicing at their new dojos with fresh feelings.
Kashii TNC Culture Center Closed
Due to COVID-19, the Kashii TNC Culture Center Aikido program closed permanently at the end of September as well. I truly thank Mr. Toshio Hamano and all the successive instructors for instructing the program for as long as thirty-nine years.
Thankfully, we have found a new place, Sunny Town Kashii Assembly Hall across from Kashii Higashi Elementary School main entrance, where we can start practicing as from October.
