All Japan Embu Taikai

On Saturday, May 24^th, the 62^nd All Japan Embu Taikai was held at Nippon Budokan (National Martial Art Hall). 29 people including university students from Fukuoka participated. 

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the Yokohama Shomonkai members who waited in line to secure our seats early in the morning. Thanks to their help, we were able to sit back and relax to observe all the embu performances.  

Each participant from our group performed a good embu with full of energy as making use of their strengths.

After the embukai, we had a party at Fukuiken　Chinese Restaurant near Shinjuku Gyoen. 

Though we had a mix of people from different age groups and dojos, all of them warmed up to each other quickly as everyone was from the same Shoheijuku group. We all had a good time with lively conversation and good drinks.     

On the next day, a seminar hosted by Yokohama Shomonkai (Mr. Hidetoshi Yasukawa, Dojo Rep) was held at Taito Riverside Sports Center. Over 40 people participated and worked up a good sweat together. See you all again next year!

A Tenjin Dojo member, Mr. Hiroshi Sato, has been awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, one of the Spring Imperial Decorations 2025. I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations to him.
